Registration for Fall Story Times begins Wednesday, September 7th at 9:00 a.m. Call 335‑7549 or come to the library to register. Registration will remain open until Story Times are filled or through the first week of the Story Time session. Rochester residents may register their children; non‑residents must have a non‑resident card to be eligible. The programs are free. Story Times begin the week of September 19th and will run for six weeks. Ask at the desk or call 335-7549 for more information.
Toddler Time: Thursdays at 9:15 a.m.
Toddlers between 12 and 24 months and their parent or caregiver meet with a Librarian for 20 minutes of stories, songs and finger plays. Sorry, no siblings may attend this program. Parents are invited to stay for coffee in the Story Time Room after the program. Toys will be available for the toddlers to play with while the grown-ups get a chance to socialize.
Toddlers and Two’s: Wednesdays at 9:15
Children 18 months through 2 years old and parents or caregivers meet with a Librarian for 20 minutes of stories, songs and finger plays. Parents are invited to stay for coffee in the Story Time Room after the program. Toys will be available for the toddlers to play with while the grown-ups get a chance to socialize. Siblings may attend with the Librarian’s approval.
2‑3 year olds meet: Mondays at 10:00 a.m.
Children and parents or caregivers meet with a Librarian for 25 minutes of stories, games and a craft. Siblings may attend with the Librarian’s approval.
Family Story Time (2-4 year olds): meet: Tuesdays at 10:00 am.
Younger children attend with a parent, older children may attend independently with a Librarian for 30 minutes of stories, songs and a craft.
3‑4 year olds meet: Mondays at 11:00 a.m.
Children meet independently with a Librarian for 30 minutes of stories, songs and a craft.
4 year olds through kindergarteners meet: Tuesdays at 6 p.m.
Children meet independently with a Librarian for 45 minutes of stories, songs and a craft.
Persons with a disability requesting accommodations must call the Library prior to the event.
